The main character: a young man troubled by something we could call schizophrenia and the Spies: strange creatures that make the main character's life hard.
Furthermore, the animation is very symbolic. Globally, it explains our modern way to live. Though, each scene got his own signification. Spies, who are here presented in a very theatrical way, represent the stress source, problems and fears lived by tons of people who are stuck in a daily machine that turns and turns again and again, without stopping. The repetition of the refrain shows well this reality.As for the ending, we could interpret it by different ways. My personal thoughts are that he could've either accepted his fears, or give up to his fears. This was made for you to imagine what you want, so interpret it as you want!
